Homeland School Company is currently seeking Expressions of Interest to fill the positions of Classroom Teachers, Business Manager, On Country Learning Coordinator and On Country Learning Manager.


Classroom Teachers

As a Classroom Teacher, under the guidance and support from Cultural Leaders, you’ll create a safe, inclusive learning space grounded in cultural responsiveness. Your focus will be on high-impact teaching, foundational literacy and numeracy, and meaningful partnerships with Bininj educators, families, and community leaders. You’ll lead learning in a multi-age, EAL/D context, where curriculum is Place-based and blends Aboriginal knowledge systems with contemporary pedagogies.

Operation Support Worker

The Operation Support Worker will work closely with non-teaching staff to deliver operational functions that support the Homeland School Company. This role ensures smooth delivery of logistics, asset management, transport and administration to enable effective education and community programs. Finance and Logistics Officer

The Finance and Logistics Officer supports the financial processing, procurement coordination and logistical operations of Homeland School Company Limited (HSC), a Bininj-governed, community-controlled organisation establishing and operating independent homeland schools in West Arnhem Land.

Based in Darwin and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the role provides essential administrative and operational support to remote homeland school sites. This includes processing payroll, supplier payments and financial transactions; maintaining payroll system integrity; verifying expenses and invoices; ensuring accurate GST coding; and responding to payroll queries.
