Classroom Teachers

As a Classroom Teacher, under the guidance and support from Cultural Leaders, you’ll create a safe, inclusive learning space grounded in cultural responsiveness. Your focus will be on high-impact teaching, foundational literacy and numeracy, and meaningful partnerships with Bininj educators, families, and community leaders. You’ll lead learning in a multi-age, EAL/D context, where curriculum is Place-based and blends Aboriginal knowledge systems with contemporary pedagogies.

Business Manager

HSC is seeking an experienced and highly capable Business Manager to lead our schools’ finance, human resources and core operational functions with confidence and integrity. Working closely with the leadership team and HSC’s Board, this autonomous role provides strategic financial oversight, delivers timely advice, and ensures the school’s business operations run smoothly, efficiently and in full compliance with all legal, governance and regulatory requirements. With a strong focus on long-term financial sustainability and strategic planning, the Business Manager oversees reporting, risk management, asset management and the responsible use of resources, while serving as the primary liaison with government agencies, banks and key external partners to support the continued growth and strength of the school.

On Country Learning Coordinator

The OCL Teacher–Coordinator will work in partnership with TradiKonal Owners, Bininj Cultural Teachers, Indigenous Ranger Groups, families, and the HSC Principal to design, implement, and support high-quality On-Country Learning programs. This position blends curriculum expertise with relational work, supporting cultural knowledge transmission, coordinating On-Country Learning, and aligning local cultural content with the Australian Curriculum.
